I have no idea for either of those but I’ll try and check.
Any idea how it could be fixed?

You'd have to pop it open and see how the display cable is connected to the hinge and see if you can move it from getting pinched. If you're not familiar with the insides of a laptop, this can be quite difficult to do.

A good repair shop might be able to fix it. Or a sibling who knows how to not break tech while taking it apart.

There are good siblings that repair devices well and there are good repair shops. You just have to find them.
