Or, unscrew the back cover, carefully unplug and remove the battery, and replace. Much less destructive.

And on a Mac like that any user can ignore the "don't remove battery" sticker because it's so easy to replace.

Ok, I haven’t confessed this to a lot of people but I had a really big tablet and the back kind of flipped up. One day when I was little I shoved a pop tart in it somehow and it’s still stuck there.

Umm, if the battery is puffed up, it's time to remove the battery/get rid of the tablet.
