Oh ok! I just thought I had seen others talking about petshops like that. I think the UK is a bit boring when it comes to petshops, its just mostly rabbits, hamsters and guinea pigs. Though the local aviaries are epic, they had some splendid grass-parakeets there once.

I guess in a way I prefer petshops with less animals...
If they tend to have a lot then sometimes it seems like they're not looked after the best. I love going places where I can see new birds though, I went to a bird sale like a year ago and got to see some CRAZY rare birds and it was so cool. I don't think many people can get to say they've seen a Blue Caique in person

Yeah, we once went to a more "commercial" pet shop and the quality the birds (a canary and some zebra finches) lived in was extremely poor. They had tiny cages, the poor canary was all alone and singing his heart out and a female zebra finch had something wrong with her foot. Its just cruel.
I SO WANT TO GO TO A BIRD SHOW ! I've seen vids of people going to them and they have so many cool birds, like even softbills etc, like redstarts and ring ouzels. I find them so cool because I've seen them in the wild in the uk!
