The khaki-Campbell duck Thread !!!!!!!!

Pics
Will two khaki campbell drakes get along?? I have three, thought they were two ducks and a drake, but as one of them matures more, I'm thinking I have two drakes and a duck. Will the trio get along??

At what age do they start showing signs of their gender? I have one khaki and he/she is almost 8 weeks old.

I got mine March 10th and they were just days old. So my three are 3 months old. I have one with a yellowish beak, does not quack, and he's got the black markings on his wings that a drake has. I have two with darker beaks, one is all brown and the other is showings signs of getting those same black marks on his wings like my other one has. That's the only reason I'm leaning towards having two drakes instead of one.

Here is a picture I found online of four khaki campbell drakes at 2.5 months old. This what two of my three look like as far as the black square on their wings I'm talking about...

I just got 2 kc hens Saturday they are mature and laying. They free range the back yard during the day but aren't very friendly. Not mean just don't seem as excited to be around humans as my pekin was and don't come when its time to go in for the night. I don't think they had much human interaction at their last home. They just hide under the shed any advice would be greatly appreciated.

With only one it'll be harder to tell. You can always identify them by the quack. If they're loud they're female. If they have a quieter, hoarse quack then it's a boy. You can tell by that age for sure.
Otherwise you'll be able to tell if the head starts getting dark - it's a boy.

People here always say use food to get them comfortable around you. I never really tried since I tend to be busy and didn't want to put alot of effort into making them like us. Recently I got a bag of frozen peas to feed them. Just let them defrost and then put them in my hand. A week later and I can't get them to stop following me.

One of the ducks I got last Saturday laid an egg Sunday morning and I have not gotten a single egg since. They also still are scared to come out of their hoiseand only come out for a few minutes then run back in. They are scared of my dog but she doesn't mess with them she checked them out the first day a little bit no pretty much just walks over to their house n checks on them with me n the morning then goes back to her own house. Is all of this normal? Will they get used to the dog? Will I get eggs again soon?

I am new to ducks this year but have had chickens for many years
and with chickens any new environment or changes can stress
them enough to cause them to stop laying for awhile so I would
think the same could be with ducks......once they get comfortable
with their new home and folks they should get back to laying but
remember they may be covering up the eggs so look carefully
and move any leaves, straw or such gently to find them......good luck
