Buff Rock Roo jumped up and got my grandson in the stomach, tried a 2nd hit and a size 12 sent him to the big coop in the sky. No sorrow and no remorse,I can't have that kind of nonsense. We were walking together to give them their evening BOSS and scratch. There was no hurky jerky movement, just a casual walk to the feed shed.

I hear ya! I've sent 4 so far for attacking my kids an I. I won't stand for anything hurting my kids!! Good Job!!!

I'm with ya! I don't go around kicking my roos (you probably don't either) but I'd do the same thing without a second thought if one was stupid enough to go for one of the kids--genetic selection at its finest--

wow I was just thinking you might get a bit of reaction from this, but I have a chihuahua that the pullet started towards aggression towards awhile back, and I thought at the time what will I do if they really start going after him, but thank god they just tested the water looking for reaction from him. he ignored them but I was really worried they would go for the eyes. I love my chickens but that lil dog comes 1st, they would have gone to freezer camp too. I only have a size 5 .

I have a chicken Chihuahua--he could care less about them and some chase him-the female turkey follows him ( white midget)-once in a while I see one of the roos eyeing him and feel threatened-so I get between them-the roos walk away maybe because they know "Paco" is #1 and they would be dinner!

I guess your paco is like my poncho, thats exactly it, my girls grew up with him so they don't have any reason to fear him, the andalusian would do the head down chase when he was walking with his back to her, but the campine did the I'm gonna jump on your back attack (this only 1s) it was before they started laying and they settled down after that lucky for them.
