The Kindness And Positivity Thread

How are you all doing today?
i'm doing good! how are you? :)
Hello, everyone! Today’s challenges are in two categories, on BYC, and in person. :D
For on BYC:
1. Welcome someone who is new to BYC!
2. Wish someone Happy Birthday!
Leave a positive message on someone’s profile!
For in person:
1. If you have someone else in your household, say something positive and kind to them. If not, write a letter or give someone you know a call to offer words of encouragement and just see how they are doing. :)
2. Write something positive and kind or, if you prefer, put the positivity into artwork. Then either put it somewhere you can see it or give it someone else to brighten their day. 💖
3. Do something for yourself that you enjoy - cooking, reading a good book, doing some artwork...remember, you matter!

Alright, that’s all I have, you can do just a few of those challenges, or all of them, but don’t feel pressured that you have to do any of them either! Let me know if you have any other ideas! :hugs
i love these! ill try to do some! ❤️

I'll probably get to this at some point today.
2. Wish someone Happy Birthday!
Wow. That's literally one of the first things I did on BYC today! I got on, got a notification about something on a post I did somebody's profile that I didn't remember. I went over there to check it out, and discovered that it was that person's birthday! So I wished him happy birthday!

Does my sister who is in college count? I was just texting her this morning and we was encouraging each other in school and seeing how we were both doing in school.

This is such a great thread @Starburst!!! In one way, it kinda reminds me of @PioneerChicks 12 Days of Christmas.

Here's a suggestion for positivity being spread @Starburst: Answering unanswered threads here: https://www.backyardchickens.com/find-threads/unanswered! I like to try doing this, especially when I see one that is getting old. There's people who need help, and even if you are just tagging somebody that might be able to help, at least you're helping. :D

That’s awesome! Great job! 💖 :highfive:

Yes, of course! It’s so great to reach out to our families! I hope she’s doing well! 💕

I certainly agree that there are different learning styles. What comes easily to one person may not to another. For instance, I have no intuitive sense of things technical so ask for help, but can envision and implement home renovations.
I like this saying:

Tell me and I'll forget. Show me, and I may not remember. Involve me, and I'll understand.
Different learning styles are real! Not everybody do the same, so why should an IQ test work for everybody? There are different types of Smart, a few examples are: Music Smart, Nature Smart, Data Smart, Verbal Smart, Mathmatical Smart, Visual Smart, and so many more! I wish I could remember the link I learned about this on. I think you can just look up "different kinds of smart." Anyways, enough rambling...
