Tala, I used to live in Wichita... for a very brief 6 months in 1989... (now I'm feeling OLD!!! thanks a lot LOL) And I dont' miss tornadoes at all. Give me earthquakes any day of the week. I don't mean any disrespect at all to all the millions who are suffering right now because of earthquakes, but tornados scare the bejeebees out of me

Here I am! Its great to hear everyone ... love the funny stories ...

Can't sleep so I am working on a new spring quilt. Lots of quilts pieced together but none actually quilted; can't seem to find anyone around here who is willing and able to finish them.

Our weather in the Texas Panhandle was WINDY today with showers early this morning; the evening wind was very cold!

Work starts early.

I hate to say it, but I have a lovely Broken Star quilt that I started nearly 30 years ago. It looks just the same as it did then.

Okay one more post before I go to bed. thought you all would enjoy a good eye popper... I'm sorry $1900 for a childrens book.... It is just totaly ridiculous.. Now you can see why finding the whole series of 16 books, brand new for under a hundred books total including shipping was such a good deal!!
