I so need to cut out the caffine! Glad I never smoked though, sure sounds like it's horrible to try to quit... the caffine is bad enough!

Man oh man we are getting some strong wind today. I have had wind along with rain in the desert for the past week. I don't mind the rain, I know we need it. The blasted WIND can stop any time.
My chickens are all hiding out of the wind! Poor chickens.

Yeah, speaking of work boots, I need to get a pair of muck boots. This morning I slid on a pair of my shoes and didn't realize until after I got to work that I was walking around with a feather sticking from the bottom of my shoe. Whoops!

I see there's an extra chair. I'm going to go get a cup of coffee soon. I have one of "my headaches", the 4th one in a week. I don't know what's going on - I think too much work and not enough "chicken time"! LOL

Tonight for supper we're having some of my homemade mac 'n cheese. Sooo yummy! I made a huge batch last night and added shrimp. I'm also going to steam up some broccoli and make some stewed tomatoes.

Lovely sunshine, but holy moly the wind! After the 25mph NW winds I figured the tarp on my coop would stay there....but today the winds were outta the other direction and it came off

Oh well, it's really warm now so the chickens will just have to deal.
