The ladies paid their first rent today! Pic

I finally took one of my old water troughs and turned it on it's side so Blue's 4 ladies could sit together rather than double stacking in a milk crate. I don't have really good pics yet, but as soon as I put straw in it Blue got in and started making nice little nests for the ladies. He sat in each and every hole he made to make sure they were nice and comfy.

Thanks, he is a sweetie! Even though him and his gotta hug the roo routine gets interesting when I'm dressed for work. He takes such good care of his girls since he's become the head honcho after Cogburn went to live with 26 hens.
