Nisha floated to the ground, her hair spread in a fan around her head.
 
"Who did this?" The Terror roared, "WHO?" She sent the fog and overwhelming darkness away, and eery light shone down on Nisha. Leaving Nisha for a moment, she swept around, looking for her culprit.

Siren was surprised, so she was

Swift's spell ended and she began to pant. It was hard enough casting a spell that would allow her - who was not a dreamer - to enter the nightmare world. And it scared her, even though she was a Protector.
I am not safe here. She turned tail and jumped into the Middle Realm, unseen.
 
The Terror paused suddenly. She knew Swift's magic when she came across it. "Swift?" Her chilling whisper followed the wolf as Swift raced into the middle realm.
