She examined the female before speaking. "I'm Emily. Whoa are you?" She asked and grabbed a arrow with her hand and kept it there, ready to shoot if needed.

Kyle was running toward Cara and Emily from the left unknowingly.

Emily heard the hooves and put the arrow on her bow and aimed it at where the noise was coming from. He wolf ears back on her head.

"Cara" Cara said simply. She listened to the sound of another approaching but kept her bow aimed at Emily. "That one is a male calling for an Emily. Friend of yours?"
 
Emily put her bow down and turned to Cara with confusion then it hit her. "Brother!" She yelled.

Kyle heard her and ran on. Once he came into sight he stopped his horse and jumped off.

Emily did the same and ran to him and hugged him. "Don't ever do that again." She said sternly and backed away.

Kyle smirked. "Missed me that much. Good to know." Hr said before turning to Cara. "Who are you?" He asked.

Cara had lowered her bow when Emily and Kyle had gone to hug each other and stood uncertainly, looking from one to the other of them. "Cara" She said again then looked around before looking back to them "Anyone else roaming around that you know of?" She asked her eyebrows knit in confusion now. She knew there was something else out there, something that had been hunting her earlier.

Emily looked around as well and sniffed the air. "I don't smell anyone," -she listened, moving her ears around- "I don't hear anyone," -she then looked around then turned back to Cara- "and I don't see anyone. And if there is someone we wouldn't know them." she said.

Kyle was standing there, arms crossed and a blank expression on.

Cara watched her then nodded. " Maybe they left to hunt elsewhere." She hoped so anyway, she didn't fancy another dip in the river to get away from whatever it had been.

Emily stared at her then spoke. "Your running for something....or someone, aren't you?" She asked.

Kyle stared into Cara's eyes, a smirk plastered on his face

"Only very recently." Cara said, narrowing her eyes at Kyle's smirk "Something in these woods was hunting but stopped when I crossed the river. Why are you out here?"
