Your pictures are very nice and your coop looks like it was made with TLC. I hope you do get more chickens one day. I am new at raising chickens. May I ask how they passed? We are doing everything we can to keep our three safe. We have two hens, Gladys (isa brown) and Knight (black sex link) and one rooster, Pip (white leghorn). He was our baby and sat on our laps watching tv also when he was too young to go outside. Now he is the man of the coop. LOL.
Good luck deciding and I hope you write back!:cd
Well the first one to pass away was a hen that always seemed to be sick and died from egg binding. She had other priabkems too. That was Nellie. The others all died this year from some animal. I never found any bodies. I found a few feathers but that was only from one bird. So I guess something got then all. This past year I let them all free range so I guess something got them during the day. And just kept coming back. The deaths where very spread out though so I didn't know anything about them. And I still don't. Not much I could do really. Our last hen we gave away a few days ago just sleo on our porch every night.
