Summer opened her eyes as she heard Tyler fall asleep. She pulled herself to her feet, and pulled a notepad and pen from her pocket. She began to write a note, trying to still her shaking fingers.
Dear Tyler,
Thank you so much for everything you've done. Its been so long since I've had a friend. That is why I have to leave. I know you won't understand, but I'm leaving you because your my friend. I don't want you to be in danger because of me. I would never forgive myself if you got hurt because of me. ~ Summer
She quickly finished and laid it beside Tyler. She looked at him one last time, and ran a couple miles away, and crashed beside a river.

Tyler woke up later on and saw the note, he read it and then looked away. he understood, but he felt something for her, he wanted her to be more than a friend to him. He stood up and let out a mournful howl.

Summer flew awake and her his howl. Tears began to run down her face. "IM sorry." She shook her head and crossed the river. She looked back one last time before continuing.

Summer wandered through the woods in the dim moonlight. She was tired, but pushed herself.
