Ava looked at them and slowly shook her head, she wasn't sure if she really wanted to watch her daughter do the wrong thing. Weighing the odds as it is now, it did sound like they were going to win.


Samantha stared at Sam and snarled, "You didn't listen! I didn't say I was afraid, but if you think about it, one against four, I wouldn't stand a chance. I needed to get help before even approaching all four of you," she said in a firm tone.

Kam and Moss looked at Ava "What's wrong? you afraid your daughter will choice us?' he asked


Sam looked at Samantha "Have you even heard of trying?' she asked "I would have at least try and get my sister before leaving" she said

Lucinda looked at Sam, then at Samantha, she really didn't know what to say, she really was confused.

Then she quickly turned around and started walking away, a little startled by her own move, she looked over her shoulder and shook her head in disgust. "This is what I get for trying to get Lucinda back.. nothing. But, I do want to ask my sister something before leaving, for good. Why is this something you actually have to stop and think about? Think about all the family you have back at home, mom, dad, Dalton, Cole, Sara, Hiro and Tiny. Are you really that foolish to be willing to throw all that away?" she questioned softly. "Just think about that for a moment. You have everything a wolf could ever dream of.." Samantha continued to walk away, her tail and ears drooping. She never actually thought it would come to this, possibly loosing her own sister for good.


Ava didn't respond, she stayed completely silent. She showed no emotion now, her eyes were dull and lifeless, it was almost like you were staring at a dying wolf. Although she was still very much alive. But she felt torn, never in her entire life did she think this would happen. Now she knew how Tiny felt when her siblings turned against her. Suddenly, when she felt like all hope was lost, she got a very unexpected boost of energy, just enough to drag her through the next series of events.

Sam smiled "Yes Samantha, you may never see your sister again. But I will offer you this. Samantha you can come with me, stay with your sister. I can see you love her very dearly, but leaving her shows that you don't love her" she said

Lucinda then growled and bit into Sam and threw her into a rock "Shut it!! Shut you mouth you ungrateful female" she snarled "I will never join you, but I will end this before it becomes a problem" she said then walked over to Sam and bit right into her throat and started to crush the wind pipe. In Lucinda's mind she knew this would only anger Tiny, but she had to end it here.

Sam was shocked then she let out one last howl for help.

Jutt backed away with a grin, then disappeared.




Moss and Kam heard the howl "No!! That rat Lucinda is still with her stupid pack. I told you we should have killed her" said Kam then looked at Ava "You got what you wanted, but we know something you don't" he said then ran off. Moss smiled "Good bye for now Ava. Your daughter Lucinda is killing our leader. Sam the one Tiny was suppose to kill. Why don't you go stop her or are to going to face Tiny with this surprising news?" he asked then ran off.

Samantha paused, whipping around in surprise. She knew deep down that Lucinda would choose the right thing, but it did sound as if she was going to team up with Sam for a moment.

Ava bared her teeth at them, a snarl ripping out of her throat. "No, I won't stop her. That Sam is going to get what she deserves," she said through clenched teeth as she weakly got back to her feet.


Samantha paused, whipping around in surprise. She knew deep down that Lucinda would choose the right thing, but it did sound as if she was going to team up with Sam for a moment.

Moss and Kam laughed "She'll get what's coming from Tiny" they both said as they ran.



Lucinda then broke the windpipe and continued to snarl. She then turned and started to walk back to the pack, without saying anything, something snapped inside of her, but she didn't know what it was yet.

Tiny heard Ava's howl and sighed, she just shut her eyes falling a sleep

Quote: Ava paused for a moment, half expecting to hear other howls emerge from the shadows. But she was greeted with silence. She pawed the ground in frustration before jogging back to her pack.

Samantha strayed away from her sister and silently crawled back to the river where all this started.
