Ava paused for a moment, half expecting to hear other howls emerge from the shadows. But she was greeted with silence. She pawed the ground in frustration before jogging back to her pack.

Samantha strayed away from her sister and silently crawled back to the river where all this started. 

Lucinda went to her den, and laid down.


Tiny walked out of her den and looked around, she saw Lucinda come back and sighed.

Tiny sighed "I don't know what happened, so I'm not sure what to say" she said "So tell me what happened?" she asked

Tiny's mouth dropped open "L-Lucinda killed S-Sam?" she asked then looked away, she was surprised to hear that "W-Well that's good" she said with a slight smile "So what's wrong?" she asked



Lucinda sighed then stood up and walked out of her den to try and clear her mind

Tiny looked at Lucinda then back t Ava "W-well, I'm shocked" she said "But I guess it's good that Sam's dead" she said

Lucinda looked at Tiny then Ava, she knew her mother was probably upset or something else, but she wasn't going to talk with her yet. She went to the river without saying a word.

Tiny sighed "You don't need to worry abut Jutt and Moss, but Kam will be back, not for Sam but for me or you" she said "Kam is the grayish, tall dog that is very stupid. Jutt won't come back because he doesn't have time for fights, he just wants to find his brother. Moss is to old to be in fights so he'll probably die" she said


Lucinda went to the river and lapped up some water.

Quote: Ava slowed down to a halt and nodded, it made sense that Kam would come back. "Okay. Until I know for sure he is dead, I don't want you to wander away from the pack. I'll do all the hunting.. and watching," she said softly before regally walking away.


Samantha gazed down at the water in delight.
