Any time! I've been calling him Chancy in my mind ever since I started reading this thread. It just seemed that that's who he was... at least in my mind!

I am having a similar inncident right now.

It seems the shipping gave our silkies what is called WRY NECK which is when they get a little brain trama.

I am giving mine, Vit E, Vit B complex, Selinium, prednisone.

Mine has improved greatly in just a week. But his head is still bent a little, and he walks backwards, and flips.

I'm hoping for a seedy recovery for both our expensive special little guys.

Go to browneggblueegg, and look up crooked neck or wry neck. It will tell you what medicine and how much to give.

Also call your vet. They should give you some prednisone. Print out the pictures on the browneggblueegg site to bring and show them if they don't believe you, thats what I did. After the pictures my vet was really nice. He gave me prednisone, selinium, and some syringes for $3.

Well Chancy is all better now.

I would say just about 100% maybe 98% I am down to just a drop of predesone a day and will have him off it in the next day or so I just wanted to do it very slowly as it could have bad effects if not done this way. He is now with a lav hen and I have seen him do the feather dance although I have not seen him mate as of yet. He does crow planty and now its just keeping him healthy and introducing him to his flock slowly hen by hen. He will only have 3 or 4 girls of his own.
