The Legalities of Selling Chicks

I live in NY and have a small homestead. I sell some of our extras and was wondering if there are any other legalities concerning selling chicks. I will be ordering them from a hatchery and selling them to the public. I've registered my business and have an EIN. Does anyone know if there is anything else I'd need? Thank you.

No dyed chicks, no sale of less than 6 chicks and you must ensure persons purchasing have proper brooder set up for their care. Unsure how one can be certain of care once chicks leave site but reasonable questioning to ensure they know how to care for them must apply.

It amazes me that the no dying of chicks needs to be a law. People are nutso! Thank you for the information!
