"Answer my question!" Charon snarled, snapping his teeth while jumping at her. His bristling fur made him look almost two times his normal size, and his claws gleamed in the moonlight.

"I don't know!" Yuki whimpered "Leave me alone!"

Who am I? Yuki thought horrified she didn't know! Why am I here in the first place?! Yuki whimpered "I-I don't know!"

"Oh, you don't? Well then I suggest you scram. You have five seconds to get out of here before I attack."

Charon slowly eased off.

"Oh let her be," a voice said from in the grass. "She's unlikely to be any harm." The brambles rustled before the voice revealed to be a large, beautiful male barn owl. His black eyes stared into Charon's, and the wolf backed away. The owl looked at Yuki, his black orbs for eyes shining curiously.
