Several hours after everyone had fled to the valley, Greta, Haylei, Willow, and Lexie were having a meeting. They spoke in quiet murmurs, and their heads were tipped closely together, as if they were talking about something important.

Alektyra glanced at them and muttered to herself.
Calliope sighed, "You can't ALWAYS have everyone's attention, Allie."
"No it's--it's nothing."

"Do you think that was really safe?" Greta murmured, "I mean, they're among the steathiest fighters we have, but...

"We didn't have a choice, Greta. If we didn't send them in, Thunder's going to continue to use her as a hostage. He's using her as his tool to make us submit."

"So much for teamwork," Noeta yawned.
"I dunno, beating up fake Attollo was pretty hard together," Rose said, glancing at the real Attollo, "Not like I have anything againts telekinetic brown wolves."

Meanwhile...

A badly beaten Senkah lay on the stone floor, coughing up spurts of blood. "I swear, Thunder... when I get out of here, I'm going to make you regret this..." She lifted her head as much as she could when she saw the shadows on the walls shift. In front of her was a wolf, a rabbit, a barred owl, and a screech owl. "Is..."

"We're here, Senkah," the wolf said, coming over to her and lifting her on her back. "We're here to get you out of here."

"Thank you," Senkah murmured.
