"Yeah, well, it's been a long time since I worked in a group. Years, actually..." Noeta continued.
"Has anyone seen Neptune?" Alektyra asked.
"He's planning with Call," Rose answered without looking up.
"Oh," Alektyra said, "Oh..."

Meanwhile...

A badly beaten Senkah lay on the stone floor, coughing up spurts of blood. "I swear, Thunder... when I get out of here, I'm going to make you regret this..." She lifted her head as much as she could when she saw the shadows on the walls shift. In front of her was a wolf, a rabbit, a barred owl, and a screech owl. "Is..."

"We're here, Senkah," the wolf said, coming over to her and lifting her on her back. "We're here to get you out of here."

"Thank you," Senkah murmured.

Once they were a good distance away from Thunder's fortress, they began to walk. The first snow began to fall, and they took a path so that their scents would vanish.

"Senkah has escaped!" A guard shouted, running to Thunder's room. Thunder sent out Domino and her group to track them down.

"But, my lord," a fox in Domino's group said, "we can't find them!"

"Use your head!" Thunder snapped. "Senkah can barely walk. They are not flying. They took the snow covered path in Futago Pass so that we couldn't catch a whiff of their scents. Now GO, before you get left behind!"

A few hours later, Lapin looked up at the sky as the snowstorm began to die down. "The storm is dying down... at this rate, they'll be able to find us by scent, and even by our pawprints..."

Senkah suddenly stopped, tossing her head. "Senkah!" Falisha said urgently.

"We need to split up. Faiga, you need to go east. I'm going to continue going north."

"What are you saying?" Faiga said, "Senkah, they'll go north. That's where everyone else retreated after that battle!"

Senkah tossed her head again, her teeth clenched so tightly that her lips began to bleed. "I'm starting to want to bite instead of walk."

Senkah watched Lapin go, before she turned to Falisha, Ansil, and Faiga. "You lot go with him too."

"No," Faiga said. "You are our leader, Senkah. We won't abandon you."

Senkah sighed, "you came all this way knowing what it would mean?"

Faiga nodded solemnly.

Senkah sighed again, then her eyes widened as she saw Domino's group approaching. "Haha!" Domino mocked, "there they are! They realized they couldn't escape and gave up!"

"Alright everyone! We're not going to regret anything!" Senkah yelled. "ATTACK!" She leapt at Domino, biting down on her ear.

Domino howled in pain, a sharp gust of wind smacking into Senkah's side. Senkah hissed, unable to use her powers from the purple fire. Domino headbutted her, bruising their foreheads and knocking them back. Falista fought an eagle while Ansil fought a fox and Faiga fought a horse.

Faiga yelled as she was pinned by Domino, abandoning her fight with Senkah temporarily. "You were on Thunder's side before... you kept switching sides!"

"I haven't changed!"

"What?!"

"We're soldiers of Rainea, and our souls will always belong to the guardians, the true leaders!" Despite being on the verge of death, Faiga's voice was strong and brave. "Go ahead, just try and change my mind. You... Thunder.. and all you other idiots... you'll never... ever have a good soul like ours!"

"SHUT UP!" Domino screamed, crushing Faiga's neck. Faiga let out a blood curdling scream as she died. Domino spat out the blood in her mouth beside her, "trying to talk righteous while dying sounds stupid."

"An idiot like you would never understand," Senkah growled from the sides.

"Huh?" Domino looked at her.

"I'll send you straight down to hagsmire," Senkah said, oddly calm, before she gave the fiercest snarl imaginable. "Anyone who wants to die, bring it on!!"

"Fool!" Domino screeched. A hawk unged forward and pinned Ansil to the ground with the help of an eagle, while a wolf with wings lunged for Falisha.

"Ansil! Falisha!" Senkah cried, but was thrown to the ground by a pegasus. She tried to struggle back up, but a great dane pushed her back down. Ansil's chest was split open by the eagle's claws, and he gasped in pain.

"Senkah... I'm sorry," Falisha gasped for air, her breaths becoming shallower.

"We hoped that we could of be of use to Rainea in the end..." Ansil wheezed.

"What are you saying?!" Senkah said, alarmed as she tried to struggle under the great dane's powerful paw. "Don't abandon hope!"

"We're sorry," Ansil gasped.

"We're reached our limit..."

"We were honored to fight alongside you... Goodbye, Senkah." And with a final wheeze, Ansil died. Senkah's ears flattened, and she looked at the dying Falisha. A large paw suddenly crushed the owl, killing her instantly.

"How beautiful. A death lecture?" Thunder snickered. "Morons. If you have the strength to talk, you should use it to attack your enemies instead!"

Lexie, who was in a wolf morph, flicked her ears around. "Do you hear that?" She asked anyone who was nearby.

Bones sat on a patch of grass deep in a conversation with Rock Head who was trying to convince him that being a spirit was better that being alive.

"You get to fly through anything!" Rock Head said angrily.

"Well when you're alive, you get to eat food! Don't you just want to eat something again?" Bones said with a sigh.

"That would be nice! I loved eating," Rock Head said thinking about how wonderful it would to be alive again. He just didn't want Bones to know that.

Knowing that he had found Rock Head's weak spot, he changed the topic," I wonder if we should go around and meet a few animals."

"That would be a good idea. Come on, let's go," Rock Head said and started to float away.

(Are they near Noeta, Incendia, Neptune, etc?)

Greta flew back to everyone else a few hours after she left. "Rakada didn't die!"
