Shade was having an awful dream Or was it a dream? It was so real. Cassus was popping in and out of it laughing maniacally, and she could not wake up.

The first images shattered and the real Cassus appeared, "What are you trying to get to Senkah?" he snarled.

"What's going on here?" Domino demanded as she padded up behind Cassus.

"One would be a fool not to notice something suspicious here," Cassus snapped, turning around, "Someone is obviously trying to use powers, Shade passed out!"

 

[OwlLover]

Domino snarled, and walked over to their bodies. "You stupid fools," she spat in Shade's face, "Blythe! Get Thunder!"

The barn owl nodded quickly, heading up to Thunder's room. She was low-ranked in the army for her poor battle skills, and if she did not comply to their commands she would be punished by the most severe methods.

Spera looked at her wings. Now that the day's practice was over, she thought about trying them out. I've never flown before...but I wouldn't fly far...

Nikki was thinking the same thing. She gazed at her midnight black wings, and looked over at Spera. "Should we..?" She seemed hesitant to get the words out.

"We have to try it sometime..." Spera flapped one of her wings. Why not now? she thought.

 

[OwlLover]

Nikki took a deep breath, then charged forwards to gain momentum. She unfurled her elegant black wings and began to lift into the air, albeit noisily.

Spera took of slowly. "Yes!" she barked, before getting caught in a gust of wind and crashing to the ground. "Never mind," she said.

Nikki grunted as she hit the ground by the same draft. "Try again!" She yipped, unfurling her wings and trying to fly again.
