"I won't allow Krystle to suffer the same fate," Rocky replied. "Stay away from my pups and my mate."

Alana considered this for a minute. "How did you remove the darkness from her?"

"Hmm," Alana said. "Just don't try taking over my home again. Are you coming with us?"

Rocky looked over at Kate at the mention of taking over her home. Kate smiled sheepishly, before Rocky sighed and turned back to Alana, "yes."

"Come on, then." She turned and began running, this time at a slower pace.
"She's a bit protective about her home," Dasha whispered. "She's had to fight for it many times. You're lucky Kate didn't end up in an icicle."
