"Alright," Rocky said, hoisting Kate onto his back. That Alana needs to watch her mouth, or she's going to get someone killed when we find Thunder. He thought to himself.

"How fast can you run?" Dasha asked the group. "We should be going as fast as possible."

 

[OwlLover]

Kate and Rocky seemed to be having a discussion with each other, even though they weren't talking. Kate nodded and wrapped her paws around Rocky's neck, digging in her claws slightly just enough so she could stay on. He ran at full speed, following Alana and the others.

Shadow and Dasha increased their speed, halving the distance between them and Alana in a few minutes. They were each carrying a pup.

Rocky continued following them.

Alana led them to a very narrow part of the valley that was almost completely blocked off by boulders. "Dasha, would you please see if there's anyone waiting for us?" she said. Dasha placed the pup gently on the grass, then walked straight into the boulder in front of her.

Rocky waited patiently.

"Dasha stuck her head out of the boulder and said, "It's safe." She picked up the pup and walked through the boulder again.

 

[OwlLover]

The pup tried to wriggle free from her grasp when she picked him up.

"Stay still, little one," she murmured.
