Aragorn preened his beautiful stripped feathers. The grass was taller than the all of the flock, so they felt safe in the meadow. He wanted to crow, but he knew that unless he could get above the weeds, he couldn't see who's attention it may draw. So he choked it down and told the hens to avoid clucking while they scratched and pecked. (figured I'd contribute on occasion ;p)
