A dark cloud consumed a figure in the shadows, and Thunder emerged from the dust. "Neat trick, isn't it?"

"Marvelous," Senkah replied sarcastically, "would you like a pat on the back?"

"Well, if you wouldn't mind," Thunder snickered.

Senkah just growled.

"Don't growl at your future king and mate!"

Senkah looked at Thunder in disbelief. "My future king? You aren't fit to rule a pack of rats let alone Rainea!"

"Well, that's sad, because you will be my mate as well."

"How thoughtful of you!" Senkah shot back.

"I'm glad you like it, because your coronation is tomorrow!"

"Joy," Senkah rolled her eyes.
 
Alektyra and Calliope were both talking.
"Why were you being such a grouch earlier," Calliope hissed.
Oh, so this is MY fault now, Alektyra thought resentfully.
"I didn't choose to have some stupid useless pair of wings," she growled, "Even when we helped Neptune with the army, I was just 'a distraction'"
"Oh, so this is about something that happened almost a decade ago?"
Alektyra dug her talons into the stone, "No, its about today."
 
Aketyra walked away, leaving her distinct double footprints, "And about tomorrow."


Neptune grimly trotted up to Calliope, "Autumn and Faedon are dead. Senkah's been captured."
