The level of stupidity in people amazes me!

Thanks folks. I've been out here yelping at the hens and well their not much help. He pays the bare min. to keep from getting in trouble with the state. He has agreed in the past in front of a judge to give up his rights but the judge to him that he would still pay support so he changed his mind. And yes the ex wife can't stand the fact that he has other children. She tries to use our oldest daughter who is 12 as a spy. The older 2 understand what's going on and are ready to just let go. The youngest one just doesn't care. I know that he is a jack*** and now the kids know too.

Seems like he thinks any excuse is a good excuse . Unless he is letting those kids have sex or spitting in each others mouths or doing the blood brother thing there is no reason for them to worry. By the way aids is not immune defeciency, it is auto immune disease , totally different .

I am sure your daughter does not have AIDS (isn't HIV the more commonly used term these days?). Even if she did, wouldn't a *loving* parent want to be around her and showering her with love, not ostracize her? I just don't get it. If I honestly thought one of my children had HIV/AIDS and I was awaiting the results, I would want to spent every moment with that child.

It certainly says a lot about the man's character. I am sorry you have to deal with him.

I have never been able to understand people who treat children like they are a nuisance. All I can say is he will be sorry someday! Karma is a wonderful thing. Just be strong and give those children some extra love, and to heck with the big ignorant jerk!

I am sorry to hear about yer situation.. I have walked in your shoes..Yesterday was my ex's weekend with our children, and he "claims he has no food or money for the kids to be there. Well I dropped our youngest off to him anyway,b/c its HIS responsibility, not mine...We had a terrible divorce, he fought me in court for 3 1/2 years trying to get custody of our girls b/c I had the good job, insurance,401k ect...well to his demise..he lost custody b/c he couldn't come clean in a drug test!!! He only has to pay $94.00a week for child support..he has another daughter up in NY and only has to pay $12 a week..talk about a slap in the face..whats that a gallon of milk and loaf of bread?? Anyway I feel yer pain!!

The new wife called earlier to explain herself (it was a complete joke).
I informed her that I am a nurse and that I was almost sure that I knew a little more on th subject than her.
So I nicely told her that if was aids or hiv which its not that her husband has a total of 7 kids and that he should have a deep concern b/c he could possible have it. BUT OF COURSE NEITHER ONE OF US HAS EITHER.
So then she decided to throw in well maybe its just your kids. Ok well all 4 of my youngens were born full term and all natural and I breat fed them.
Her irish triplets were born premmies. (I say that because they were all born with in 2 1/2 years.) Anyway she claims that 1 also has asthma and another has allergies.
So go figure. And for all of you that say he is a idoit yes he is. Two examples** he brought now wife who was preggers and new baby to our divorce proceedings *** the last 2 years he claimed all 4 kids on his taxes and got audited both times.
What's the sad thing is he only pays some support for 3.

BTW had the same thing happen in my first divorce back in the 80's. Back then you had to bring a residential witness that could testify you had been in the State for 6 months blah blah...he brought the woman he had been having the affair with as his witness. I had a field day with that...calmly, smiling while I gently turned the judge loose on them by sayinf "Your Honor, did you notice how they have the same one bedroom apartment address?"

to go back . . .you might want to have a talk with him about the do's and don'ts of this situation where the kids are concerned. . .I have seen the "other family" kids say and do really mean things to the "first family children" when the parents aren't around . . .and i just grieve to think of your little girl having to deal with this on top of not feeling well. By the way, and don't think I am crazy, but have you tried a chiropractor? Sometimes, if you can find one that is really into nutrition its miraculous what adjustments and vitamins can do for someone with auto-immune or just sort of puny health. . .I worked for a chiro for a year and a half and it was amazing what I saw!!

Did you tell him that his village is missing their idiot, and that he should return right away! Jeeze, he should do research and be more compassionate. That is his daughter and even if she did have AIDS he should love her no matter what...Does he know that aids cant be spread through touch, play, etc.. IGNORENT! Also even if she did have it, people should be defined by who they are.. Not by the disease they might/might not have! I know why you divorced him! Good luck! and keep this man away from your daughter!
