Then Carlos burst out laughing. The other Rooster fell over, roaring with laughter. then i realized something: THEY WERE OUR NEXT DOOR NEIGHBORS, who are a little older, and can fly out of their brooder. Boy, was i furious. I Peeped with all my might, Getting my person to come running. "Oh you two. Shoo! scat!" She procceded to chase them out. I schemed on a plan to ge them back....AND BOY, what a plan it was!

Even though nobody seems to like it, i'll still write:

I was bored. bored bored bored. It had been a week since the rooster incident and Crystal still teased me about it, endlessly. The only relief i got was when Person 1 played with us. YEAH! here she comes! i pipped. She scooped me, bella, and our little mate, lacey up onto her lap in the big room. It had a big black window, that somehow Person 1 could open up and see four-legged beasts called horse race around on a dirt track. She seemed to LOVE it. I just liked the popcorn. I usually just pecked the fluffy outer edges. But today i felt brave. Should i attempt at what no chick had done? Person 1 would always laugh and say "if you knew what it was...."

I was feeling brave. I gave the middle a sharp rap and jumped back. It wasn't alive. Ignoring the amused look on Person 1's face, I tried to break it. It was hard! I finally shattered it. I eyed it warily. Then, i quick snatched up a peace. "Oh my feathers! it's CORN!" Lacy and Bella looked over at me in surprse. "Corn? corn! wheres corn?" Bella hopped up and down. I offered her a peice. She went BALLISTIC! We were in a chicken frenzy and we didn't notice...THE CAT.

It all seemed slow motion....Person 1, she screams, which puts all us chicks into freeze mode...except Bella. She continued gobbling in a frenzy. I tried to scream, but i couldn't. I lunged at her and pushed her...over the edge of Person 1's lap! I could have kicked myself. I jumped after her. i landed with a thump! which attracted the cats attention. I couldn't breathe. Darkness...Dizziness...AIR! I finally gasped,"Bella, the cat! she's after us!" She whipped around in time to be swatted by the cats paw! Person jumped up and literally threw the cat out the door. "Oh bella! bella!" Person cried. "MOM! oh mom help!" she sobbed. she carefully picked me and lacey up, and put us back. I was trembling. "Bella. no. not you. bella......" and then, i fainted.
