And he will make a very fine throw rug for Pride Rock..." and he chuckled wickedly as he slunk back to the Elephant GraveYard.

He returned to the Elephant GraveYard, and there he remained, healing and plotting revenge. He stayed in the shadows, content to be presumed dead, until one day, a lioness spotted him while hunting. In ecstasy, she reported her sighting to Simba, who at first was terrified that his Uncle's ghost had come back to haunt hom, but quickly realized that Uncle Scar was very much alive.
