The little duck that was a chicken!!

My sister-in-law has been hatching eggs for a few months now, with great success. She has some really great mixed breed chicks now. So her husband gets some muscovy duck eggs from someone to hatch. One of the eggs hatched early and it's a chicken! It's some sort of brahma or brahma/mix I think because it has feathering on its feet. But the poor little thing is now all by itself. It's too little to be with the older ones and the ducks haven't hatched yet. I hope it will be ok.

Where are you? My broody just hatched out 8 pretty babies and I would be happy to take him if your close by.

I'm in Swoope, VA; near Staunton and an hour west of Charlottesville. I'm about 2 hours or so from the NC border. But thanks for the offer. I have looked on Craigslist and there are a lot of people locally who are selling chicks, so I'm going to ask my sister-in-law to consider that.
