The buff silkies needed a new home. The coop finally is finished. Of course, they were sleeping under it tonight instead of IN it. Silly silkies.

What a great little coop! Very nice and I love the blue.
I have 4 hutches and a coop. Depending on who's broody or what colors I'm seperating, I move them from pen to pen once in awhile.
I have to lock them up, inside, for a week or 2 before they know that it's thier pen. After that, I can have all the ramps down and at dusk, they will all go inside to the correct pen.

The silkies finally started going inside on their own last night. The first part of the week I had to fish them out from under it each night. They've finally figured it out.

I'll finish the pop door tomorrow and add the locks and latches. It is supposed to rain tonight so I'll see how well the shed works at keeping the food dry. Because of the pop door it ended up higher than I thought it would be. Fingers crossed the food stays dry!

The blue was paint I had left over. Actually, so was the green. I painted the plywood parts that light green color and all the trim the leftover blue. It matches the other coops as the paint was leftover from those projects.
