The 'local' auctin

took 1 roo and 3 hens to a local auction because I needed the pen for 7
cuckoo maranas that were in a too small pen ,, my wife watched me leave
laughing ,, she thought I would come home with more chickens than I left with ,
I had told her I would not do that as I just needed the pen so after the
auction was 4 gone and 17 coming home ,, I just can't help myself.... I keep
telling her that I didn't buy all they had , but there wasn't many folks in
the pay up line .

Hubby couldn't understand why I opted for this house. Tiny, not to great area................ 2 1/2 blocks from the auction! Short blocks too. I can walk there. Walking back is a little more difficult, but I can't have him pick me up, cause he'd see what I bought waaaaayyyy too soon.

I got 8- 2 month old RIR and 2 lots that seem to be muts there may be a bantom or 2 in the 2nd lot but I got all 17 of them for less than $5.

Everything I brought home has it's own pen / brooder and sumulet in the water for a week or so also dried garlic on- in the feed .
