Chapter 13

When we weren't seen, we ran faster than a cheetah. We ran and ran and ran. I looked behind us, I couldn't tell if he was running after us or not.
"Fly up that tree!" I shouted.
We all flew up it at the same time. I was hot and sweaty. I was panting really hard. I felt super dizzy. My eyes werer fluttering.
"Hey... I-can't... I... need air and... water." I said, eyes still fluttering.
"Hannah," Pepper was speaking, "you are going to be alright!"
I blacked out.

"Hannah! Wake up! Hannah!" Ethel was screaming.
My eyes were still closed. They felt like a million tons. What was going to happen to me?
"Hannah!!!!?" Pepper said shouting.
"Whaaa?" I said.
"Hannah! Are you alright, Hannah!?" Pepper said.
I didn't say anything. How could I? I just couldn't.... I couldn't. Ahhh I don't feel good at all. What's going to happen to me? Emma? Are you there? Emz, help me.... I'm so helpless now. I can't move my body. Where am I anyways? On a tree? On the ground? Where's that bear? Am I back at the coop? Oh Emma....
I blacked out again.
