Chapter 38

The storm went on for a long time! About 2 hours! When it was finally done Bambi came back. All of us rushed down from our tree and we were asking Bambi questions like crazy. It was weird because she couldn't speak, but we did anyways.
"Bambi!" I yelped, "Where in sane heck were you!?"
She pointed her head towards west. I see. She was in the direction where my coop was. That reminded me! We get to leave soon! Probably tomorrow or the next day!
"Bambi.... We are leaving soon." I told her.
She frowned and pouted.
"Bambi... I was wondering if you wanna come with us! But you're going to have to find your own food and try not to be seen by the family. Alright?"
She nodded and jumped up and down. She was very happy. I laughed and we all went to go eat and drink and we had a good rest of the day. The sun came out and a bunch of bugs were out too!
Lilly and Rose were playing "kickball" again with another beetle. I don't know how they can with that beetle.
"Hey Lilly and Rose... when do you wanna leave to meet your new friends back at the coop? Tomorrow? Or the next day?"
Lilly spoke first. "I don't know. Tomorrow? But-but we have to leave in morning?"
"Yes. Early morning so we can get there right away." I said back to her.
Then Rose spoke. "Ya, ya!" She yelped.
"Alright! It's settled then! We should get to sleep now so we can wake up super early and not be tired the whole day." I told to everyone. They all agreed and we went to bed.
It was still a little bright out, but we still went to sleep.
Bambi was right below my tree and my Little Miracles were right under my wings. It ended up being a nice and beautiful night. I smiled and went to bed thinking about Emma.
