Mist started to doze off. Her slender neck drooped forward as she closed her eyes.

“I agree. I just hope that cherry is ok…”

"Yeah, she'll probably be alright though. About a year ago, Beatrice injured her leg by tripping over a vine. (Beatrice is another one of my adults.) Look at her now! Her leg is all better." She smiled. "All right. It's getting dark. I should probably get to bed." And with that, Splash ran out of Ash's burrow and to her own. She fell asleep.

Atlas looked over at her. He smiled. He closed his own eyes and scooted closer into Mist.

Cherry started to drift off. She closed her eyes, her leg still stuck out from underneath her. She forgot that she was in Eagle's burrow and not her own. It was so nice and comfortable.

Ruby was now in her burrow with Connor, who had cried himself to sleep. Ruby closed her eyes but couldn't fall asleep. She was deep in thought about what happened.

(Yeah. I love being able to picture the characters, so I always want to know the specifics of what they look like, but that might not matter much to other people lol. Some characters I model after my own birds or birds I've met before.)

Eagle smiled at her and started to drift off.
