Ruby opened her eyes. "Hey." She whispered back. She looked back at Connor and back to Eerie with sad eyes.

"Is he asleep?" Eerie murmured quietly.

Ruby nodded.

Ruby nodded.

"Want to talk?" asked Eerie.

Ruby nodded again. She stepped out of the burrow. She walked a little ways away from the burrow just in case he woke up. (Is it still the middle of the night?)

Ash fell asleep, and so did dust.

Stone sat on a rock outside in the dusk light, thinking. He understood Connor's perspective, but didn't approve of the extent to which he took it.
He thought about Ash a little.

Ruby nodded again. She stepped out of the burrow. She walked a little ways away from the burrow just in case he woke up. (Is it still the middle of the night?)

Beatrice sat in her burrow. She didn't even know that anything had happened. She started to fall asleep.
