Web woke up, shivering. She felt cold under her. "Oh, no. Baby, are you okay? Smoke?" Thank goodness, the cold uner her was just her legs. But wait. Where was Smoke?! Web ran out in the snowstorm. "Smoke! Smoke! Honey where are you!?" She ran from den to den. Have you seen smoke?!?!"

Smoke peered out into the snow.

Stone turned to Ash after Web had rushed by. “Why would we have seen smoke? There’s no fire.” He chuckled, bewildered.

Fang crawled out after him, sheltering him from the wind. She let out a long call, the snow was getting deep. The rats curled up into balls, making them warmer.
Web heard Fang.

Stone turned to Ash after Web had rushed by. “Why would we have seen smoke? There’s no fire.” He chuckled, bewildered.

“I don’t know, but I don’t like how panicked web sounded.”

Web found Fang sitting in the snow over some Fuzzballs. "Fang? You have chicks?!" She squacked.
Fang shivered. She picked up Smoke with her beak. "I believe- that this one belongs to you...."

Web found Fang sitting in the snow over some Fuzzballs. "Fang? You have chicks?!" She squacked.
Fang shivered. She picked up Smoke with her beak. "I believe- that this one belongs to you...."

Smoke peeped in exasperation.
