Fang laughed, caught off guard. "Come on, you know I never did killed somebody. How would I drag the body up here?"
Fang lifted her stomach, revealing the inside. A faint squealing sound came from the inside. Fang got her beak and stuck her beak into a circular opening in the egg, pulling out one, then two... tiny rat pups. They were pink, tiny and helpless, small enough to fit in an egg.

Ruby was still walking with Daffy. The chicks were sleeping, dreaming of pleasant things.

Daffy kept walking. She stopped when she came upon her smashed egg. "Goodbye, Baby Rot, I will never forget you," she whispered to it.

"I love you," Daffy told the egg before heading back to her burrow.
