A hawk was swooping low over camp. It pulled up abruptly, and doubled back for an even lower swoop.

Ruby put her wings around Eagle and Cherry since they were looking at the hawk in the front of the burrow. Atlas was in the back of the burrow.
Connor gasped at the hawk.

Flower was just about to run into the den when she hear a screech and saw the hawk plummeting down upon her, moving as if in slow motion.

"Flower!!" Connor yelled. He ran over to her and flogged the hawk in the face. He didn't have his spurs yet so it sadly didn't really damage it.

Flower screamed as the hawk loomed in front of her.
Suddenly, a brown blur hit the hawk, screeching and tussling. Feathers flew. A spray of blood hit Flower in the cheek.

Eagle watched as some brave chicken tussled with the hawk.

Connor kept on attacking the hawk. "Leave!" He attacked it again. "Her!" He flogged it. "Alone!" He said before attacking it once again.

(It was supposed to be Sage. This is how she dies.)
