“I’ve heard that there was a place that that near here.” He said quietly. “On the other side of our band of woods, there is a huge human structure that is filled with wailing, trapped hens. The oldest birds have seen it before.
They said it went quiet for a while, but about a season ago, it was suddenly filled with more birds. Maybe that’s how you ended up here, is you were headed for that place, but by some perfect twist of fate, you ended up here.” He said.
“I sure am glad you ended up here.”
