"Me?" Fang snorted. "I'm the one that's lost?" Suddenly a big Icy wind blew and she saw the chick quiver. "It's getting cold. Comeon!" She led the chick to a huge hollow log, the one where she and Rain first met. Thinking of rain made her upset but now wasn't the time to think about that.“You look lost.” He said.
“I don’t mean location-wise. The lost - that was in your eyes.”"

Ginger shivered. "Leech! I'm cold!" She sniffed the dirt. "Come with me, we're finding mommy."“I don’t mean location-wise. The lost - that was in your eyes.”
He quipped, following her. He didn’t know why he kept rhyming, but he liked it.

Fang looked out from the log. She nudged the chick. "Take a look, see those black specks? What are they? There are two of them!"
Cherry forgot about what she was supposed to be doing. The thoughts of sadness clouded her mind. She kept her eyes on Fern, hoping she wouldn't notice that she was crying. (Can we have Fern notice?)Eagle trudged inside his burrow.
Fern nudged Cherry into her own burrow. “Two is better for warmth. And maybe you’ll explain to me why that cockerel’s got you crying.”Cherry forgot about what she was supposed to be doing.
