Ash seemed a little more sure footed then stone, but when you don’t know about what something can do, it’s easier to be brave.

Mist screamed, but the snow crashed over her. She was sinking fast.

Lucky heard a scream. Her first instinct was to pretend it never happened and go in the other direction but in a split second she was running toward where she heard the sound.

Atlas also heard the scream but he just continued to cry. He wished that it had never happened and that Timber had never joined the flock.

Connor heard the scream as well and looked at Flower. "I'm gonna go see what that was." He said before running over to where the sound came from.

"Okay! Same with me!" He began to run over to a slope of snow.

Lucky reached an area where there was a large dent in the snow. Her heart beat faster when she realized that there were muffled sounds coming from underneath the snow.
"Help! There's a chicken under the snow!" Lucky yelled once before going to work in frantically digging at the snow.
