Tiny was strutting around in the snow, unbothered, because of her thick, warm feathers. She heard a whimpering noise. This was Poshy’s first winter. She has never seen snow so white, or snow at all. She hunched under her bush desperately trying to keep warm- shivering. Shaking. Posh heard distant footsteps. And desperately tried to conceal her cries of pain, and the clattering of her beak as she shaked. She did not know what was out there. She fluffed up her feathers, trying to get cozy in her down. Her feet were freezing. The feeling of the snow burned her toes. As if they were being stabbed with a million tiny needles.Tiny was strutting around in the snow, unbothered, because of her thick, warm feathers. She heard a whimpering noise.
