"Okay."“Well, Connor said Flower has a problem!“
Tiny looked at the pullet. She was so scared. “Are you ok? Can I help you warm up?”Posh jumped. The peck, while light, and didn’t hurt, still put her in immense fear. There has never been anything good associated from pecking. She put her head low to the ground, submitting all the dominance she didn’t have, to the stranger. She looked up quickly at the hen standing before her, and was terrified. She was terrified of chooks she knew, let alone ones she didn’t.
(Ok.)(Wait you should check on Beatrice as well or something!)
Posh tilted her head. This was unexpected. She’d never heard anything like this.Tiny looked at the pullet. She was so scared. “Are you ok? Can I help you warm up?”
“No,” Dilly said quietly. She looked out at the snow too, wishing she was older and feathered out enough to go play in it."Do I look dead?" The little chick said crossly. She strode across the den to the entrance, staring out at the snow.
Tiny didn’t take no for an answer. She wrapped her wing around the small pullet, and fluffed up her feathers.Posh tilted her head. This was unexpected. She’d never heard anything like this.
“N- N- N- No- No- I- I’m- F- F- Fi F- Fine- Th- Thanks…” Posh was shaking so hard she could barely get any words out.
”J- Just- A- B- B- Bit- Chi- Chill- Chilly.”
Snowberry looked up, eyes shiny with unshed tears. "She's gone." he said softly. Before checking on flower, saffron decided to visit bea. She poked her head in her burrow. Bea was with snowberry. She was dead. Saffron looked in her burrow in defeat. Bea was so nice to her…
Connor ran back to their burrow and saw Flower making a nest. "Flower? What are you doing?" He looked back at Eerie and back to Flower. He obviously did not know anything about egg laying.Flower paced, feeling her body push and contract.
She went to her mother's burrow, pulling out the grasses and moss stored there. Clucking softly, she carried them back to her own, making up the most comfortable nest she could. She knew what was happening now.
(Connor needs to be shocked and confused when he gets back.)
