"Daffy. Dilly ran from you! If you want to be a good mother, you need to prevent that! You need to take care of your chick."“Yes -I uh- well,” Daffy didn’t know the answer to that question.
Rain sprung into the air, beating her blue wings with a vengeance. She landed on Ginger, trapping her on the ground. Ginger squealed and hissed, but Rain didn't mind. Rain wrapped her up in her wings, trapping her there. She felt her own blood soak her feathers. She clutched Ginger against her, waiting for her to stop fighting.Ginger hissed angrily again. Then she hid down in the shadows, running away, pounding the ground.
Ginger growled, switching back to chicken. "What are you doing?!" She fell limp, exausted. "Why?"Rain sprung into the air, beating her blue wings with a vengeance. "Shut up." Grumbled Rain.Ginger growled, switching back to chicken. "What are you doing?!" She fell limp, exausted. "Why?"
“Well, in return, I want to know who left you to die in those woods! I’ve been a loner, but there is a nice flock a little bit further. I think we should join it. Start fresh. They have been so nice to a new cockerel who showed up.”Poshy‘s heart leaped. She’d never heard such exciting words in her life. She dug her beak into the apricot, flinging juice and pulp everywhere as she ate. She seemed to get more of it in her beard that she did in her mouth. She then pecked open the egg, and slurped up the beautiful golden-yellow yolk. She had stuffed herself to the brim. She looked Tiny in the eyes, “Thank you.” She hadn’t experienced such selfless kindness since she lost her mother and friend.
"Are you gonna-" Ginger had a hard time breathing . "Gonna kill me?""Shut up." Grumbled Rain.
“But if she ran away, then what if she keeps running away? Maybe I’m not a good mommy. Maybe I should let her be,” Daffy sighed."Daffy. Dilly ran from you! If you want to be a good mother, you need to prevent that! You need to take care of your chick."
Dust caught up. He laughed when he saw rain pinning ginger down."Are you gonna-" Ginger had a hard time breathing . "Gonna kill me?"
"No- Dafffy- When you're a mom you can't let your chick alone, it'll die. What do you want me to do about Dilly?"“But if she ran away, then what if she keeps running away? Maybe I’m not a good mommy. Maybe I should let her be,” Daffy sighed.
"Clearly you don't know me, or you'd never ask that." Snarled Rain. She kept Ginger clutched in her wings. Doing that calmed chicks down. Ginger wasn't that different."Are you gonna-" Ginger had a hard time breathing . "Gonna kill me?"
