He nodded. "I think I'll go check on my brother then. He rolled himself up and keeps repeating something. I don't know what though." Connor walked out of the burrow and to his brother.
Flower turned the little egg from side to side, trying to believe what she was seeing. "Connor!" She gasped, looking up, but he was gone.(Yes!)
Connor heard his name being called but he was already to his brother. "It's all my fault." Atlas kept repeating, not knowing Connor had come over. "Atlas, it's not your fault. I like to think that it's nobody's." Connor said. Atlas jumped. "Connor, it is all my fault. Just go back to your mate and your soon to be happy family. "Oh, nevermind." She said. She wanted to surprise him.Connor got to their burrow. "What, Flower??" He asked, furious about how his brother was acting.
Connor sat down where he was before, watching his brother shiver. "He said that life isn't worth living without Mist! Can you believe him? I'm seeing how long it will take him until he goes into his den. He doesn't care if he freezes apparently." He rambled to Flower.Flower felt the tiny egg wiggle. She smiled. She had it tucked under her. She could feel it slowly splitting open.
