Well...The move didn't exactly go as planned. Discovered the big girls could jump/fly over the baby coop. ChickaBoom got into baby run and harassed the McNuggets.
Also the holes in the baby run fencing was big enough the McNuggets could escape. Found that out just after dark (of course) the first night. Rounded everyone up and locked them in.
Yesterday moved the Mcnuggets into the big girl coop and run and all was well until night fall. The big girls went a bit crazy that they couldn't get into their roosts. They ended up barging in, so I moved nuggets back to the baby coop for the night. This morning moved everyone around again
Tonight I will lock the big girls in the baby coop before checking on the nuggets.
Needless to say, only about 3 months into this and already planning a much larger dual purpose dividable coop.
coop today. Looks like they like it. Everyone, including me, is happy to be done with the brooder.
