The Meltdown- An Apocolypse RP

Simeon fell to the floor, and tried to stab her foot, then teleported away.

Luckily Maria dodged the knife this time, so she only had one wound to deal with. And it seemed he was gone, so Maria relaxed once again and poured some water over her blood-covered calf. She was breathing heavily, but other than that it wasn't that bad.

Simeon grunted unhappily, unsatisfied he didn't kill her.

After a few minutes Maria had fixed up her wound a little and the water was boiling. She put all of the herbs and weeds into the pot and decided that she could use some meat for it, if she managed to catch anything.

With her axe in hand, she wandered around the city that was mostly taken over by overgrowth. She didn't really find anything good to eat, but there was a rather large snake that she accidentally stepped on, when she was on her way back to the shelter.

Instead of using her axe she used her pocket knife to remove its head, since the axe was a little bit bigger than was necessary. Once she reached the shelter again, she started cutting it up and getting any bits of meat she could from the snake.

Simeon observed her, invisible.

Maria tossed the meat she managed to get from the snake into the pot. It probably wouldn't be completely done, but she knew it would be done enough to safely eat.

She sighed and stared at the flames of the fire. Maria was just kind of out of it at the moment, and just wanted to rest.

Simeon wanted her dead. He teleported closer. He turned invisible and hid in some bushes.

Once the "soup" was done, Maria took the pot off of the flames and set it in the shelter to let it cool off, not paying any attention to the bushes Simeon was hiding in. She then got her axe and used the back of it to hit the metal on her other arm. She wanted it off, maybe if she hit it it'd break.

Maria kept hitting it harder and harder, but all it did was make a loud sound that made her ears ring.
"Just...Work!" She hissed, and in her anger threw the axe on the ground, its blade sticking into the soil next to her.
Maria sighed hopelessly and looked at her arm with loathing eyes. She wanted to be normal again, and was paranoid that the metal may possibly start reaching her face. If it reached her face, what would happen? She was worried it may kill her, because what if it covered her mouth? Or blinded her by covering her eyes?

Maria looked at Simeon angrily.
"Seriously, why are you so determined?? We're both people, even if we're different in some ways. It's just the way the chemicals changed us, but genetically we are the same. I have no idea why you have a grudge against me." She hissed and got her pocket knife out. It wasn't much, but could still hurt someone.
"Wouldn't you prefer not to get hurt, and actually try to survive?"

Simeon laughed "Animals kill each other, and we're just animals. Don't worry, I'll make it quick."
