Is anyone going to the Dixie Classic in Knoxville this weekend?

Hubby wants me to stop hatching for a couple of weeks so we can go on a trip   the last time (2 years ago) we took a trip lost a lot of chicks and eggs were not collected.... I am scared.....

We are staying in the Hampton Inn in Henderson, I think. Enjoy! I thought surely someone would be going from here. Such an opportunity. Problem is, I want to go to all the sessions, I can't just chose one out of 10 to 12 and then the demonstrations and venders. Busy, busy weekend. I think we are going to divide up and go our separate ways and try to cover as much as possible. My sister wants to do the herb things so guess I will do others things.

We are having the same dilemma, exacerbated by the fact that we will have a 6 and 7 year old with us and will have to occasionally stop by the kiddo tent to milk a cow or something. My wife wants to do a lot of the cooking and food preservation classes. I want to do more of the homesteading. I think she is going to pass on the chicken butchering class which I think will be my first of the day. Yummy.
