LOL
Yep, I've noticed you have taste like I do, rarer the better.
Some good oddities that wont break the bank are java and wandering treeducks, again if you can find them, ball park of $100- $150 pr
Eyton's, fairly common bout the same range.
N. American ruddies, chiloe widgeon, most of the teal are under $150, of course in your area any of the divers would be good, though they will need more than a dish of water. Smew are very nice, but in that $500 range again. Hartlaub's are nice and rare, bout $400 pr
Really just depends on what you are looking for.
One I think would do you justice on beauty and do well in your climate without the need for massive water is baikal and falcated teals (or duck in the falcated's caes any more) Falcateds run $150- $200 pr, baikals are $300- $400.
They both need little water, take cold very well being of northern origins to start with, are drop dead beautiful, and arent that common.
What kind of price range are you looking for, that would help narrow down the species list a good bit, very few to any are available under $50 any more, but most the common stuff is between that and $250.
If you had the water, the golden eyes would be a good climate wise choice too $185 american, $250 barrow's $500 bufflehead
