The Missing Heir RP

Kira woke with the first light of the sun. She sat up and rubbed her eyes then looked around. "Good morning" She said softly to Aeron, trying not to wake Karok.

The night marched on despite Karok getting little sleep. He was unable to get comfortable and his previous dream haunted him. Eventually he felt the air warming with the morning sun and gave up. Slowly he opened his eyes and sighed. "Is it you plan to run thie-..Aeron? Or travel to a village?". Karok was unsure if he should inform the man of the binding situation. Per Zurian laws of honor, Karok was in debt to Aeron until one of them met death.

Kira woke with the first light of the sun. She sat up and rubbed her eyes then looked around. "Good morning" She said softly to Aeron, trying not to wake Karok.

"Good morrow, are you hungry?" Aeron asked quietly and smiled, handing the Wildfolk woman her own bag, packed with venison.

He turned to Karok as he spoke, then answered, "At this point, if anyone, other then you, had followed to try and catch me, they would have caught up by now. So I see nay need to run, but I dost wish to accompany ye, at least for a goodly time, if thy would allow..." At the last sentiment, he looked away slightly. He didn't want Karok to know just how much he wanted the company, he trusted the man, which was something Aeron never did, he never let himself.

"Then so be it, you have my sword." Karok replied with a nod. Slowly he rose to his feet and shook the cold from his body. Wincing a little, he remembered the puncture wound from the arrow. Although it wasn't serious it certainly hurt. "You certainly have a nack with bows...". He took heavy steps towards his horse and prepped the shire for travel.

Kira accepted her bag and looked at Aeron. 'When did he get my bag? She wondered "Thank you" She said and looked to Karok then put out the fire and prepared to travel.

Aeron winced at the comment Karok made as he adjusted the saddle on his steed, "I apologizes for that, Karok, though if I had not shot you, I would likely be on my way to the gallows by..." Aeron broke off, remembering Kira's presence and her unknowing of what had happened, she might not be happy to know there was a thief in her company. He was not even sure if she would be travailing with them.

"I understand, you have no need to explain." Karok gave a half smile. In any situation Karok knew he would've done the same. Perhaps I judge too harshly.... The Zurian thought about how many criminals have hung by his hand who were of good character such as Aeron. Karok pushed the thought out of mind and looked to Kira. If she indeed decided to travel with them then Karok would offer his horse to her. It was manners after all...

Smiling back at Karok, he than looked to Kira, "Wilt thy be travailing with us? We art headed to the town across the river, it is but a short distance away." Aeron said, the town they had come from the other day was in the opposite direction, through the forest.

Kira looked to them again and smiled "I would be glad to travel with you both." She stood, making sure the fire was completely out before walking over to them. She knew they were speaking around something, and her curiosity wouldn't let her leave until she found out what it was.

"Wonderful" Karok replied. "Please, make use of Tu'ull. ". The Zurian offered the reins of his horse to Kira. He suddenly had a question as to how they would cross the river. The road would have guards searching for his new companion but, Karok certainly wasn't going swimming again...
